Hey there! Thanks for checking out our website! My name is Jessie and I am a picture takin’, Colorado native, semi-hippy, gym-going, dog lovin’, not so perfect mama to four kids, two special needs bulldogs & a bunch of chickens.
I am madly in love with my best friend and co-founder of Freedom Pine Farms, Ben. He is absolutely the best human I know – he is smart, kind, funny and well, pretty dang handsome too. When he’s not on the farm, Ben is a neurosurgical physician’s assistant and really great at talking about the medical and science background of the health stuff we post. We live in beautiful Black Forest, Colorado.
We have four children – Anna, Kaitlyn, Meredith and Zach. Ben and I recently moved my parents to live on our farm with us from Durango, Colorado after my dad had a double lung transplant. We are so happy to have them close so we can all help each other and work on building our beautiful farm one project at a time.
We hope to teach others all about how we live as toxin-free as possible through gardening, clean eating, raising animals, exercise and nutrition as well as finding joy in all that we do.
